WE NEED YOUr help

Volunteers play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission. Whether you're a seasoned animal lover or looking to make a positive impact in your community, we welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and skill levels.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Recovery Monitoring

One of the most important stages at our clinic is post-op care and monitoring. Animals must be continuously observed after surgery to ensure they are recovering properly. Volunteers help us keep an eye on our clients prior to going home.

Surgical Assistant

This role is reserved for our more experienced volunteers. As you volunteer more and more at our clinic, you will become more familiar with our equipment and tools, allowing you to learn the skills needed to assist our veterinarians during their surgeries.

Autoclave Processing

We do not have an endless supply of tools, so it is important that we actively clean our tools after surgery throughout the day, so that they can get repacked, and back in the autoclave for sanitization so they are ready for the next surgery.

Induction and Prep Assistant

This is another role reserved for experienced volunteers. Only staff are able to medicate and intubate our clients, but animals do need to be held for injections, shaved for surgery and other prep that volunteers can assist with after they build their skill set.

All volunteers must sign the SNIP Volunteer Liability Wiaver prior to their first volunteer shift
